The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Mandaluyong City is one of the most dynamic and people-centered local legislative bodies in the National Capital Region. Guided by the city's vision of a premier, harmonious, equitable, and peaceful community, the City Council transforms leadership priorities into effective, inclusive, and sustainable policies.

Responsive Policymaking

As the policy-making arm of the City Government, the Council ensures every ordinance and resolution addresses the evolving needs of constituents. Aligned with the Local Government Code of 1991 and national development goals, its legislative agenda strengthens good governance, social protection, economic growth, environmental management, and peace and order.

Recognized Excellence In the previous Local Legislative Award (LLA) cycle, the Sangguniang Panlungsod was honored as one of the Outstanding Local Legislative Bodies in the NCR by the DILG — affirming exemplary performance in legislative output, committee effectiveness, codification, tracking systems, and ethical standards.

Isang Dinamiko, Proaktibo, at Nakasentro sa Tao na Katawang Pangbatas

Ang Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Lungsod ng Mandaluyong ay isa sa mga pinakadinamiko, proaktibo, at nakasentro sa tao na lokal na katawang pangbatas sa Pambansang Punong Rehiyon. Sa gabay ng pananaw ng lungsod na maging premier na lungsod, patuloy na isinasalin ng Konseho ng Lungsod ang agenda ng pamumuno sa mga epektibo, inklusibo, at napapanatiling lokal na patakaran.
